Almost everyone had their eyes glued to the screen on April 29 to watch Prince William & Kate’s Royal Wedding. We were lucky that so many channels decided to air it that day, including Dubai One which most of us tuned in to. Who can forget the exciting feeling we all felt when we caught a glimpse of her as she got into the car that delivered her to Westminster Abbey, and right at that moment they officially announced that her dress was designed by Alexander McQueen.
Soon after that, it was the same deal with Monaco’s Royal Wedding; Prince Albert and Princess Charlene. We all tuned in to almost feel a part of this Royal celebration (…if only). Here they are with their gorgeous wedding cake
Now I’m not saying the next wedding is equally a “Royal Wedding”, but it is almost as equally anticipated… Today, August 20, is Kim Kardashian’s wedding. Think of it as Hollywood’s Royal Wedding! Since we have all seen her pictures with Vera Wang herself, and after Kim officially announced it on her blog, her wedding dress is designed by Vera Wang and we all can’t wait to feast our eyes on what Wang has created. Their wedding will be in the charming city of Santa Barbara, and E! channel is said to have exclusive rights to capture the footage of tomorrow’s wedding. It will air in a two-part special on E! Sunday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 10. At 9 p.m. Its sad that we’ll have to wait that long!
All we have for now is Madame Tussaud’s wax figure of Kim the bride ;P
