Bait Ahmed

In the midst of all things old, all kinds of aromas and fumes, and people from all walks of life, lies a gem in Souq Al Mubarakiya.
Bait Ahmed is a must visit for those who enjoy traditional Kuwaiti charm, rustic finds, and pretty little things. The prices are surprisingly reasonable and the items are truly one of a kind. I have yet to know if these are collected items and the story behind this charming little shop in the middle of "downtown" Kuwait. You'll find the shop near the bshoot area of Souq Al Mubarkiya, just ask any of the helpful shopkeepers and they will show you the way.
What's even more exciting is that the owner is planning to expand and have a little cafe nearby his shop, too.
Browsing through things in Bait Ahmed is truly entertaining and you will find yourself just chilling in the shop. Its one of those cozy, inviting places you don't really want to leave. Let's not forget the vintage music played in the background (samri, too!). Its one of those places that scream "A7bech Ya Kuwait" :)
Make sure you pass by the shop and also check out all the decorations around the city for Kuwait's National & Liberation Day celebrations.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

PS: This is what I bought...
