Tis the season.. !

 Currently snacking on: Khalal
Its the season for Khalaal NOW. Make sure you get them from your palm tree or the date souq before they ripen and turn brown and soft.
Khalal at this stage are raw and not yet ripe. They are crunchy and taste so sweet and bitter at the same time. They are great for snacking on, and you can only get them at this time of year, so hurry up!
Khalals are a good source of fiber.
Not all khalal taste the same, some are more bitter than others. I prefer the sweeter tasting ones.
